Walkies – His very own guide dog

I had such a wonderful day catching up with friends and taking my dog for a lovely walk alongside his brother, Elvis. It’s absolutely heartwarming to see how patient and caring Elvis is towards his blind brother, guiding him around the park with such tender care. He seems to understand his brother’s condition intuitively, making sure to greet other dogs first before letting them approach his brother.

Watching their energy levels sync up instantly with Lockie’s fills me with joy. It’s truly heartening to see the old boys supporting each other and enjoying their time together.

Although I didn’t manage to tackle all the things I wanted to while my husband is away, I remind myself that there’s always tomorrow. One project I’m particularly excited about is transforming our staircase into something that reflects my own personality, rather than channeling my grandma’s taste in design decisions. It’s a little project that I’m looking forward to diving into soon.
